Recent Spring & Summer 08 Wedding Work!

Hello again from http://www.christophersphotos.com/ Christopher's Photography has been so busy editting wedding images from the spring & summer we have not had time to update our blog. Here are a few that we liked and will post more as we get them processed. A few new pieces of equipment have been added to our bag such as the new Nikkor 16-85mm F 2.8 VR, Nikon D300 and another Radio Popper reciever http://www.radiopopper.com/ ! We are now using a double off camera flash set up and it rocks. Just did a engagement session with them and will soon post them. We are still booking into 2009 and are always open to meeting new Dallas / Fort Worth couples or even couples from other states that need a destination photographer. Have cameras will travel, lol.. Radio Poppers Have Arrived ! Trial Shots

The wait is over! The new Radio Poppers have arrived and we love them! The line of sight problem is gone and what a relief. No more yelling at my assistant (wife) lol, to move over here, move over there. Christopher's Photography has now done our first video ad. http://www.christophersphotos.com/ will have our first video on http://www.youtube.com/ as of 3/30/08 . It's a start of more to come from us! We have also just ordered some great new equipment such as The Radio Poppers http://www.radiopopper.com/ and some Alien Bee strobes to are arsenal of lighting. The Radio Poppers are going to add a whole new demention to our shooting! With the radio wave signal and TTL ability we will be able to shoot in bright light at a 1.8 0r 2.8 and up to 1/8000 ! This along with no line of sight needed our wireless shootiing will be unbelievable. Well here is our first video!

Christopher's Photography Hits The Road In Texas!

Christopher's Photography takes a road trip with the family to try out new wireless flash method. With nothing to do on a Sunday afternoon we decided to hit the road and do some street photography in Texas! We found this great little gas station called The Petrified Gas Station in Ducator, TX. The Nikon CLS system is great, but we soon will be investing in The Radio Popper system http://www.radiopopper.com/ this will enable us to fire our flash via a radio signal , no line of sight needed. The Radio Poppers will help us with use creative light captures that should help us climb the ranks in the Dallas / Fort wedding photography market. At this time we are booking quite a few weddings in DFW and would like to book more for the summer of 2008. Engagement at the Gaylord Texan!

Christopher's Photography http://www.christophersphotos.com/ had a blast with Cherie & Johns engagement session at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, TX last week. They are set to be married there in May and we were lucky enough to be able to use this beautiful location . With our Nikon CLS wireless flash system that we learned how to use from a Tri-Coast Photography workshop http://www.tricoastphoto.com/ worked great! We also had fun with some natural light shots with the giant glass ceiling there at the Gaylord. We at Christopher's Photography have been book up solid last month and we are getting pretty full for spring and summer of 2008. We do owe a lot to what we have learned from the Texas Photo Forum http://www.texasphotoforum.com/ , this is where we have gained a lot of knowledge about lighting and the Nikon CLS system. Thanks Able of the Texasphotoforum.com . Cherie & John will be married at the Gaylord on May 24th so we should be posting some new photos from their event. The place is so grand and there are so many photo ops there we are really looking forward to shooting there again. A BUSY WEDDING BOOKING SEASON HAS BEGUN

Welcome back to Christopher's Photography! http://www.christophersphotos.com/ We are looking at a very busy 2008 Dallas and Fort Worth Texas wedding season. Most of May is booked and we have some spots left in the spring months going into this summer! Wedding consults have been an on going affair for us Christopher's Photography, we have been meeting with Dallas soon to be brides and covering our wedding packages . Sales have been 100% every meeting I have been to has booked their wedding with us. I think sales have been 100% due to the fine post processing we have been using on our images. I do also believe that our new creative lighting system has put our work up with the best and the Dallas brides are taken notice! Having our site on http://www.betterphoto.com/ has help a lot. Destination Wedding Photographer

My newest goal for http://www.christophersphotos.com/ Christopher's Photography this year 2008 is to do some destination weddings and travel photography. My goal is to book weddings every weekend until fall and then take a exotic travel to possibly the Inca Trail in South America. I have always had a fascination with that culture and its ancient background. To visit the Mayan Temples and see where the Mayan Calender was originated would be the icing on the cake for Christopher's Photography this year. I hope to get some great travel photographs that can be sold through http://www.alamy.com/ and maybe http://www.gettyimages.com/ . In hopes of being a professional travel photographer who also does destination weddings, I will be doing research in this field to better understand the business and fine tune my photography skills at the same time.
